I currently only buy aspartame. I know this is not the best choice so my general approach so far is to reduce the amount that I am eating. I used to have 2 packages in every coffee, that has been reduced to 1 package. I used to have 3 or more 710ml bottles of diet pepsi each day, now I average less than 710ml of diet pepsi each day.
Additionally, to reduce the need for diet pop, coffee, and tap water, I’ve started to make my own iced teas from black tea, green tea, and herbal tea. I use 2 packages of aspartame per 2 litres of iced tea. I don’t know if this is true, but I’m guessing that this is quite a bit less aspartame than diet pop.
